Mingle Magazine is the perfect place to submit your work. Are you a creative business? Then document your pop-up shop as Skybox Event Productions did with their Sunday Funday Pop-Up Shop (pictured below). Cool idea, huh! Love it!!

Maybe it’s a family gathering with your dining room table decked out to the nines or a garden party in the backyard. And I know you are hosting art social events in your area, why not document that?

Whenever wherever people gather is what Mingle Magazine is all about. They are on the lookout for beautifully photographed parties, gatherings, and artistic retreats like the one I attended in Canada, Kim Klassen’s Finding Stillness. They welcome submissions. Our was a collaborative one. But yours doesn’t have to be.

Stampington & Company’s wonderful publications are dedicated to providing a forum for both professional artists and hobbyists to share their work.

As a way to celebrate my being included in the spring issue …

and to give you a little encouragement …

I am thrilled to offer a Mingle Magazine giveaway today!

So take a minute to dream … and tell me what kind of gathering you would love to host and document. Don’t hold back, dream big! And leave your thoughts in the comments below so I can enter you in the drawing for the spring issue of Mingle Magazine.

(Giveaway open to US residents only, but don’t let that stop you from telling me your dreams. Drawing ends Monday, May 1st.)

I would absolutely love to hear from you! Please feel free to share your thoughts.

  1. I love having people over. I would love to have a group of girlfriends over for an afternoon lunch and document that. It would be so much fun to have the gathering outdoors and have my yard filled with gorgeous flowers and flowing white fabric hanging from the pergola where we would be sitting for our meal. :)

  2. I would love to be able to invite friends to a class about flowers and casual arrangements. Possibly followed by a proper English afternoon tea . Home made cakes , vintage cups and saucers . The photo opportunities would be endless 😊

    • This makes me smile Caz. I have known you to be a flower and vintage cup lover for years. I can just image the photographs of the scenes, light, bright, delightful!

  3. I would love to host an outdoor tea party centered around time spent “crafting” with good friends. The menu would include scones, tea sandwiches, desserts, and a variety of teas and lemonade and as Carolyn and Caz mentioned we would need beautiful flowers!

    • Tea and flowers is a theme that so many can relate to as an ideal afternoon, which is why is a perfect subject for a mingle photoshoot. And it is so possible to accomplish. Go for it girl!

  4. I picture having a twig garden arbor it trellis workshop. A large table set up with refreshments, big table for working. Garden in bloom. Music playing. Or…a rib BBQ with friends around the fire pit! Beer, beans and good times!
