Testimonials
“I had such a lovely experience working with Karen, both in her studio and on a very fun outdoor shoot. Aside from the obvious (that she’s a marvelous photographer) she’s wonderful to work with and has a very calm and collected way about her that immediately put me at ease. We also talked quite a bit prior to the shoot and she was excellent at communicating how things would work as well as what ideas she had (and listening to my far less organized ones, too!) I’ll look forward to having the chance to work with her again. A real gem of an artist (and person!) here in the midcoast.” ~Abby Norman
Karen Olson as Rocked my World!
“Karen is a serene and nurturing woman. Inside that exterior, burns a fierce, fiery flame of pure creativity, which she delights in sharing. Karen has some kind of crazy magical magnet which draws the creativity out of her students, who may believe they are unable to even draw a stick figure (me). Whatever kind of creativity in which you have secretly yearned to indulge, take a class with Karen. You will be amazed at the fabulous, creative, passionate new you.” ~Catharine McCann maine1photography.com
“Karen was so lovely to have and really taught me and my staff so much. She is warm and very patient when teaching new skills. We are a new business figuring out how to make the most of our social media and our web presence. Karen helped us conceptualize how we wanted our Instagram/Facebook to look, showed me new tools to make the most of our web presence and taught us how to take the best pictures we possibly can. Not only that but she created a beautiful photoshoot and really understood how magical my B&B is. The skills she taught me and my staff will be used as we continue to grow and she was judgment-free whenever one of us had a hard time grasping a concept or needed extra explanation. Thanks so much, Karen!” ~ Lyn Feasley The Cottage in the Pines
