Lifestyle and still life photography have become a key aspect in promoting business on social media. It is a necessary skill in this digital age. But that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the process! Whether you have a business to promote or love the idea of learning fine art photography, this class will introduce you to the artful process of still life and lifestyle photography.
We will learn camera settings specific to the genre. We will discuss ISO, F-stop, and the direction of natural light. An array of props will be available for you to practice your skills. A demonstration and practice session on composition and design will enhance your skills.

Images are key in promoting one’s business or passion. No doubt you already are creating great content to share with others. But navigating the world of social media can be challenging at best.
This class will cover exporting your images from Lightroom or another editing program, size configuration for the different social media platforms, and how to best get the images from your DSLR to your phone. We will also cover practices for storing your images on your hard drive or in the cloud. A discussion considering the best social media platform for your particular business will help you decide where best to spend your time and energy.
